The Sheepie® Jimba Jimba is the original Sheepie® rooftop tent. Since its introduction, the Jimba Jimba quickly gained popularity thanks to its lightweight and easy-to-use design, which made it a very accessible rooftop tent for people with all types of vehicles.
The 2.0 version introduced the innovative gas spring system, which strongly contributed to the quick and easy setup the Jimba Jimba is now widely known for.
The gas springs will automatically unfold the rooftop tent. This allows the Jimba Jimba to be fully set up in less than a minute.
In 2023, Sheepie® launched a 3.0 version of the iconic Jimba Jimba rooftop tent. This new and improved version comes with several upgrades such as improved drainage, a slimmer and more lightweight frame, a new ceiling with extra ventilation, an integrated LED light strip, and an upgraded ladder.
The Sheepie® Jimba Jimba has been designed with all types of weather conditions in mind. The windows and vents allow for a natural airflow during hot days and nights. This airflow has also been designed to reduce condensation. The curved frame bar at the front of the tent provides better drainage during rainstorms, and an optional insulating thermo inner tent is available for camping in colder weather. The thermo inner tent can easily be attached to the inside of the Jimba Jimba and comes in a medium or large size.
The Jimba Jimba is available in a medium and large size, and comes standard with a mattress, shoe bags, internal storage bags, mosquito netting, and a ladder. The 3.0 version is currently only available in a large size, and comes standard with a mattress, shoe bags, internal storage bags, mosquito netting, upgraded ladder, and an integrated LED light strip. The cover of the Jimba Jimba has been designed in such a way that accessories, such as sleeping bags, or a thermo inner tent, can remain inside the rooftop tent when it’s in its closed position, freeing up cargo space inside your vehicle.
